The purpose of this website is to provide a venue for fans of the currently in-development video game DC Universe Online to showcase their character concepts in an organized manner, so that it might be possible for the development team of the game DC Universe Online, who have shown a remarkable level of appreciation for fan questions and enthusiasm for the product they are working on, to provide feedback on the character concepts displayed on this site. It is known that for liability reasons, developers do not usually take suggestions becuase the person who made the suggestion could potentially demand compensation for their idea or intellectual property being included in the product. Therefore, while any character concepts submitted to this site will remain the intellectual property of their respective creators, those creators by submitting their concepts to this site and describing what would be needed for their character concepts to be realized within DCUO will waive any right to demand compensation for the potential or actual inclusion of any element or method within the DCUO software, that they (the concept submitters) have described.
Why go to these lengths to attempt to ask the DC Universe Online development team about these Character Concepts? Because DC Universe Online is promising to be the ultimate Super Hero/ Super Villain online multiplayer roleplaying game. To go head to head with not just well established MMO games that hold the majority of the player base such as World of Warcraft, but also established Superhero/ Super Villain MMO games such as the older City of Heroes/ City of Villains which has a fiercly loyal player base, but the newer Champions Online which got a head start by releasing in 2009, DCUO will truly need to bring the ultimate in character customization and gameplay to the MMO table.
